We happened upon the Mercantile Pub while visiting the Rocks markets late on Saturday afternoon. The sound of your music pulled us into the pub where we sat for a couple of hours until you completed your set at 7pm. It was a fabulous afternoon and is a memory that will remain with the 3 of us. November 1st 2010 re Saturday afternoon at The Mercantile Hotel I'm Keith Devlin - I'm the Scots guy from Edinburgh who was was at the Rocks Market and heard the band playing so just had to come in and hear more and I'm so glad I did. Thank you all for a brilliant session on Saturday - I really enjoyed it immensely. You're a very talented trio and I wish you every success. It's not often you get an electric bass in a folk band and the combination with accordion and guitar worked very well. June 2011 " It was an absolute joy to have Blackwater play and entertain our guests at our 60th birthday bash. Everyone raved to me about the standard of musicianship and great entertainment. Suzie obliged by singing several songs I had requested, and also threw in some pleasant surprises. It will come as no surprise to you that your Sydney fan base increased after this gig. Just a quick note to say a big Thank You to you and the band for your wonderful performance at our wedding on saturday. You sounded amazing and everyone was commented on how great your music was. We're so happy that we booked with you, it was truly brilliant. And it was a surprise to hear that Suzie had known Hugh Fox since she was a kid.
